Carseat Safety

This video has been circulating for several months, but I thought I'd share it here.

When people question why my children stay in rear-facing carseats well past the minimum guidelines of 1 year and 20 lbs, this why. When people wonder why my 4-year old is still in a 5-pt harness, this is why. When people wonder why I am so obessesed with carseat safety, this is why.

Please, please, please keep your children in a 5-pt harness for as long as possible. Please keep your babies rear-facing until they outgrow their seat limit. Please consider purchasing a Britax carseat. I know they are expensive, but they are the best and your children are worth it.
