While home in VA we celebrated the girls' first birthday. It's hard to believe it's been a year already! Now, as June approaches, I find myself again preparing to celebrate J's birthday as well. He'll be 3 next month which means 3 years since my cesarean that forever changed my life. Bittersweet I guess...
Today I realized that it's been a year since I met someone who would become one of my best friends. We met when she was expecting and I was her doula. Now we are great friends and I love spending time with her and her awesome family.
With all the thoughts about birth I thought I'd take a moment to reflect with this video.
