Today we had a playdate with 2 little girls who have the chicken pox. They shared cups and lollipops with my kids so hopefully they shared some germies with us! To some it might sound crazy, but I want my kids to get the natural immunity that only comes from contracting chicken pox. If my kids do end up getting it we will have a nice pox party at our place in 2 weeks!
And on a more serious note, please keep my brother in your thoughts and prayers. It looks as though he will be admitted to a residential treatment facility for a substance abuse problem following (more) legal trouble. It's pretty bad. Ok, it's very, very bad. He needs all the help he can get right now.
The kids (and dog) and I leave for VA next week. More later!
