Why would anyone take 6 children (ages 6 and under) on a 6+ mile walk around a lake?Because I'm crazy, that's why.
I loaded up "The Beast" and my mom and I set out to take the kids around Burke Lake, near her house. This was actually on Memorial Day but I'm slow in uploading pictures these days and I scheduled posts for while I was traveling.
I hadn't planned to leave the house that day but the mama drama was too much for me and I took the kids and went to Sully Plantation to walk around. When my mom cooled off she called us and asked if we'd like to go to the lake. We came back and got everyone in the van and I never changed clothes. My shirt says "twin moms are twice as hot." I hope that everyone saw the irony in that I was sweaty, dirty, covered in bug bites, and wearing no makeup. Hot indeed.
Joshua got tired about halfway through and I ended up pushing him in "The Beast" with Leila on his lap. That's about 175 lbs I pushed around a gravel path in the drizzly weather. I count that as my exercise for the year.
