We made it safely to Virginia on Saturday after a
very long day. We actually left the house at 9:30 am and went to the kids' soccer games. That meant we didn't start our trip until after noon. We arrived at my mom's house around 9:30 pm. So far things are going well! We never made it to Sesame Place due to bad weather but we're planning to try to make it up there next week instead. We did take the kids to Skyline Caverns and they loved that.
I've been running all over the place trying to find a house. The housing market has really turned here in the DC area. With so many foreclosures and short sales the prices have hit rock bottom. Now it's a seller's market again- complete with bidding wars. I'm struggling to find a house that we can buy so that I can move back up here soon. Let's just say I'm being cautiously optimistic at this point.
As always Jason is keeping me grounded (even when he's halfway across the country) by reminding me that what is meant to be, will be. I think that will be my new mantra for the next 2 weeks.
