I'm alive! And I'm going to finally get to my email and blog and everything else that I've neglected all week.
Yesterday I went to the ER where the doctor found a lemon-sized mass in my breast. Thankfully, it was not an abscess. It was just a massive infection from the recurrent mastitis. I had a fever all week and even though the mastitis had mostly cleared up on its own, it came back in a different spot the next day. I've been so sick that I'm not even sure what day it is right now.
The good news is that the infection is clearing up. The bad news is that there is a good chance that I may get sicker as a result. Because of some other medical issues I've had, the antibiotics that are helping the mastitis may aggravate an underlying condition. Let's just pray that doesn't happen.
