This is what Jason and I looked like when we met. These pictures were taken over 8 years ago. Jason and I met through a coworker and these are her children. We used to pretend they were our kids. Never mind the fact that they are teenagers now! (That makes me feel so old!)
I can't believe how far we've come from these pictures. I believe these are the very first pictures of us together. We took a trip to Six Flags and a trip to Myrtle Beach and I remember it was just after 9/11 and the place was deserted. It seems like so long ago and it's especially funny when I think of how much has changed since then. You know, the six kids and all...Good times.
Oh, and did I mention that Jason will be on TV on Monday? It's just a short feature called Salute the Troops and they'll show a few pictures of him and tell about his family. I got an email from the producer after posting a photo and personal message online and then they asked if I could do a phone interview. I did that on Wednesday and the story runs on Monday morning! It's no big deal at all but it will be neat to send it to Jason (if he ever gets his laptop.)
