It's Almost Time

It's almost time for us to pile in the van and head south. Things are falling into place now. I just need to get the last bags packed and we will hit the road. Somehow I am surviving. My dad has been here since Sunday and he is amazing. Today we painted my huge foyer together. He's played with the kids and made starbucks runs and he's just been a joy to have here. Maybe I should just move to Colorado? The army says it's Washington next though. Now if the house in Georgia would just sell... The kids are looking forward to being in Georgia again but I just want to fast forward to Washington this fall when Jason comes home. It feels like he's been gone forever. Good things are happening though and I should have Internet again in a few days. Just need to get through the weekend in one piece!
