As I mentioned before, my computer crashed. To make matters worse, Jason couldn't recover the files on my hard drive. I lost everything on it. Fortunately, we had backed up most of the files recently and we store most of the pictures on an external hard drive. But I still lost hundreds of photos and stock images for my doula website/store. I'm taking over Jason's laptop for now but it's just not the same.
It's been another busy week in our house... as always. Our local multiples club had a huge consignment sale and I spent most of yesterday helping out at the sale and hanging out with the other mothers. It felt so nice to get out of the house for a change.
Speaking of change, I'm hoping to be at the end of changing diapers soon. Nathan is showing renewed interest in using the potty, although Ryan still prefers his diapers. We added a new potty chair to our extensive collection. I snagged a frog potty at the consignment sale with the hope that it might entice Ryan. No such luck. Apparently none of our 7 potty chairs are good enough for him. Nathan loved the frog potty and immediately put it on his head and wore it around the living room.
I'm gearing up for warmer weather and starting our miniature garden in the backyard. We had a few flurries here last week but it was pretty lame as far as snowfall goes. I can't say I miss the Georgia weather since it still feels like we haven't had a real winter here in Washington yet.
I am now going to go investigate options for recovering the files from my hard drive. I hear that there are places that will do this. Anyone know where?
