*We are now into the full chaos of school, sports, and other fall activities. I feel like I need a personal assistant to keep me on schedule. (Or maybe just a maid.)
*We replaced our garage chest freezer with a full upright freezer that we scored on Craigslist and I've spent the last week filling the freezer with meals and snacks. We still have some meat left from our last share of beef and I want to make sure we have a freezer full of food when Seven arrives. I found a really great website called Once A Month Mom that has recipes for healthy freezer meals and even has GF options.)
*Today mom my mom is retiring from the USPS after almost 37 years. She turned 55 last month, so most of her life has been spent working. I'm excited to see what this big change will do for her. I'm hoping she will be very happy now!
*One of Jason's professors nominated him for a scholarship and it was awarded to him this week. It was completely unexpected and a nice little surprise. I'm so proud of him!
*Squash bugs have taken over my garden and are driving me crazy. I can't get rid of them! I've tried neem oil and I go out each day and squash the squash bugs. I don't know what else to try. At least my strawberries are safe.
*Fall is almost here and Seven will be here in 11 or 12 weeks. Where has this year gone?! I think this has been my fastest pregnancy ever.
*While cleaning up my computer I came across these old pictures. I can't believe how much Nathan and Ryan looked like Leila and Sarah. Considering five of my kids are clones of Jason, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I wonder who Seven will look like?
