...we are all patiently waiting for Seven.
The other day Ryan asked, "Is the baby coming out or what?" My thoughts exactly. (And yes, my sweet boy really said that!)
We had a guest speaker at church and his sermon included a Monty Python reference. That's always fun, although I'm pretty sure nobody else in the congregation knew what he was talking about. The average age of the members of our church (and this entire town) is roughly 85 years old.
Also overheard in my house... Matthew referred to one of his twin sisters as the "evil duplicate." I tried my best not to laugh.
When Sarah came into the room a few days ago I started to call her "handsome", thinking she was one of the little guys. I stopped myself and said I was sorry for almost calling her handsome. She looked at me with her big blue eyes and said, "I don't care what you call me, I just care that you love me." Yep, I am seriously in love with these kiddos!
Since I don't have any friends here in Arizona, I decided to henna my own belly. I've always wanted to have a blessingway and spend an afternoon with a bunch of dear friends but it's just not in the cards for me with all of our frequent moving. Most of my friends live halfway across the country or one the other side of the globe! So I mixed up some henna and decorated my kids' hands, my hand, and my big belly all by myself.
(Don't laugh! It's the best I could do while painting my own belly at an awkward angle and simultaneously being viciously kicked from the inside.)
Now let's just hope Seven comes before the henna washes off...
